Bio: Dr Neil MacKinnon, President of the Central Michigan University (CMU). Before joining CMU, he served as Provost and Executive Vice President of Augusta University, Dean of the James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy at the University of Cincinnati, and Director for the Center for Rural Health at the University of Arizona. Dr. MacKinnon received a bachelor’s in pharmacy from Dalhousie University, and masters in hospital pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin, and a doctorate in pharmacy health care administration from the University of Florida. He maintains an active research program as president of CMU and is professor in the CMU College of Medicine. Dr MacKinnon’s research interests include health policy, rural health, patient safety and community pharmacy.
